The Tajweed Rules Books are otherwise known as the poem of Al-Jazariyyah. This is a well-known and well-documented text about the science of Tajweed by Imam Muhammad Ibn Al-Jazari Ash-Shaafi’i. He was a famous scholar in the field of Qira’at. He passed away in 833H; however, his scholarly work still remains a source of enlightenment for generations to come.

Course Description

This course is mainly for students who have previously studied most of the rules of Tajweed including Makhaarij, Sifaat, Madd, Qalqalah, etc, or at least have a strong basic knowledge of Tajweed.

‘Al-Jazariyyah’ was constructed to make it easy for students to understand the rules of Tajweed. Students will be made to memorize the poem with perfection and go through the rules in the Mandhoomah Al-Jazariyyah (text of Al-Jazariyyah). Students will be introduced and guided on how to beautify their recitation.
